Sold 4 calls of TSLA_110615C222.5 at $6.75

Tesla Earnings on 3rd November so playing a short shot. Sold 4 call options for 06 Nov 15 with strike price of $222.50! This earnings season is crazy so far! I hope I don't get stuck on the wrong side!

I am in the winding down mood. I  have 200 Tesla stocks that I need to sell so I sold 2 Call options with strike price of $212.50 for this week and it gave me around $1040! I will be happy either way- if they get exercised or get expired.

Hopefully there are no major movements in TSLA stock before I get delivery. Arian does not know that I have an order and I would love delivery on his birthday in December!!

Sold to open 2 puts of TSLA_103015P212. at $5.45

Not sure why I made this trade... If TSLA- Tesla stock does not move much, most of my Call options will expire worthless :)
One option that is likely to get exercised is Call options expiring today with exercise price of 210! I already have 200 long position in TSLA so hopefully, if that is exercised, this will bring back the position at a lower effective price! Plus, I already have a limit order for selling TSLA call options for next week!

Sold 2 calls of TSLA_102315C210 at 4.95

...and the stock crashed. Sometimes, prices (http://www.profitfromprices.com) tell you more about the stock than what Consumer Reports editor can tell you! Few days back, the stock dropped from $250 or so to $212. It created a possibility for the Tesla stock to come back to $230. Over last 2-3 posts, I mentioned my desire to be on the short side when it hits $230 level. Now this morning it was almost that level. Yesterday TSLA stock did touch 230 mark. I have sold call options at $220, $225 and $227.50. Debated few times about shorting the stock but I guess having a potential short exposure of 1000 shares (due to the sell of Call options), I didn't want to get into too much risk. I feel bad today but hey, I had made my decision.

Today TSLA got bad report by Consumer Reports and there was precipitous drop in price from $227 to $202!!!

As things are happening the way I wanted, I am creating some more short positions. Sold 2 call options for the week...

Sold 2 calls of TSLA_121815C205 at 17.95 limit

I shouldn't have really traded this far out... but I guess I was a bit scared the way TSLA tesla stock was dropping today and I was worried about the current open position of 200 long! I sold 2 call options which are 2 months down the road for $17.95 with a strike price of 205! I will probably close this position sooner, and at a loss, I guess.

Tesla is taking me for a ride, is it? I had long positions and it started dropping.. I closed them too soon as I was scared. My game plan was to be net short if it comes back around 230.. It is there now so here is one more short play in Tesla options.. I am a bit scared as it keeps showing strength. I think I should put my emotions on the sideline and stick to what prices are telling me..
All I want is to end this project with 80k in profit. I don't want the ship to sink which is so close to the destination.

Time to start taking short positions on TSLA...

Wish I had patience! I know if you are stuck in a wrong side of the trend, the market never lets you go unpunished! I had 800 TSLA long and was afraid too much. Plus I had sold PUT options at 220! On the day when it hit the low of 211, I sold 215 put options and then 220 and now 225.. I want to be back on the short side..in project #TSLA4Tesla
